Welcome to Kiwitography!
I’m Jade Chittock, a freelance photographer, and a director/producer with a prominent media organization.
Throughout my career I’ve been fortunate to work on a variety of photography projects; I’ve explored the experimental, captured corporate culture, and navigated some of the most unique narratives. What fuels my passion is creating the perfect platform for my clients to express their stories and share their beautiful moments. Choosing the right person to capture all of your special moments isn’t easy, but together we can make those moments withstand the test of time.
My fascination with all things video and photographic started at an early age. My father (the Kiwi that started it all) moved through life with a camcorder glued to his hands from the moment he came to Canada. His passion to capture life as it happened inspired me, and ultimately informed the direction my career path would take.
Kiwitography is more than a business. It’s a reminder of my mother and father, who are both incredibly successful business owners in their own right, and of the hard work and dedication it takes to succeed. It’s a reminder of where I came from, my New Zealand heritage that continues to be a source of creative inspiration. It’s a reminder that your story, like mine, should be captured with the same love and devotion that my father showed all those years ago, with nothing but a tiny camcorder and his favourite models: his family.
I work closely with my partner in crime, life, and business: Nick Grimshaw. Together we tackle all sorts of projects, from photography and video, to music composition and film production.
